A 5 part collage series depicting a sequence of mental states inhabited by a young girl when she is confronted with information inconsistent with her prior understanding of things.

A state of Mental Repose is interrupted. Critical thought and an open mind enable the girl to acknowledge a Dissonance. A period of limbo follows, in which she reevaluates the assumptions with which she perceives the world. A reconciliation of earlier judgments with new information begins to Ground her. Unabashedly, matter of factly, she arrives at a new understanding, a Resolution.
